I have three boys, so I've learned a few things on how to work with multiple children of various ages, with different personalities and needs. 

 

I've also learned that all children require the same things when learning something new.  You have to keep them entertained.  And mutual respect is key.

All kids love shiny things

Props are my "shiny toys" I use to keep yoga fun, engaging, and stimulating. Take for example a Hula Hoop - what person any age doesn't immediately know what to do with it?  It's a nostalgia toy; simple and fun.  This is the philosophy I trto incorporate in my yoga lessons- - Simple and Fun!
